Before we talk
If you've booked a call with me, or someone sent you this link, here's a little context on me ahead of time. I'd rather spend our time hearing about your business than walking you through my background.
What I do
I run Raven's Quill LLC out of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, where I build software and AI tools that take the repetitive, draining work off people's plates so they can get back to the work they were actually hired to do.
What I care about
I'd much rather help a business grow steadily for ten years than squeeze out a quick win, and I'm not interested in building tools so someone can cut employees for a better quarter. Even a well-built tool goes unused when the people around it aren't ready for things to change, so I look for owners who put the right people and the right culture first.
How I work
The part of this work I enjoy most happens before anything gets built: figuring out how a business really runs day to day, then putting it back together into something that gives people their time back. Sometimes the right answer is a tool you can buy for a couple hundred dollars a month. If it is, I'll tell you. If your company runs EOS, I'll work from your rocks and annual goals.
What I've built
A customer experience system prototype, RQCX, that I first built for a Midwest manufacturer. A tool that narrowed my county's 1,600 tax-delinquent parcels down to a shortlist. A phone and booking plan for a local barbershop. And most of my own back office. I'm happy to demo any of these on our call.
Outside of work
I write and draw every day, lift, and I've visited every U.S. national park. I've also finished a 120,000-word novel. There's not much I enjoy more than a long project I get to see all the way through.
What to bring
Come ready to tell me the two or three things that feel stuck right now, and where you think some help could fit. Rough numbers help too: how many calls, orders, or hours a week the problem eats.
